and cultural growth.

ORT's 58 schools and programs in this region are among the top educational institutions in the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and the Baltic States. Currently, 27,000
students study in a Jewish environment and learn about their Jewish heritage and culture. Enrollment has dramatically increased each year, testimony to the quality and need for such programs.

ORT France operates seven schools serving over 6,000 students in Paris, Strasbourg, Lyons, Toulouse and Marseilles. ORT also has schools and programs in Belgium, Great

D. Dan and Betty Kahn Science Center
- Kadima Mada (Science Journey) -- Delivers science and technology education,
computer labs, and teacher empowerment centers to areas of Israel never before touched by ORT.
- Rosner Summer School -- Brings Israeli students to London
for two weeks each year for intensive English language study and a variety of social programs. It also prepares students to tutor younger students who are struggling with English language.
- Students at Risk -- At-risk students identified for this project receive clothing,
transportation, field trips, text books, school supplies and hot meals so they can attend school.
- Hatter Technology Seminar -- Held annually in London and
attended by Israeli teachers interested in developing skills in fields including bioscience as well as future employment opportunities for students who receive instruction in this subject.
- D. Dan and Betty Kahn Science Center -- Renovation of the science building of Rodman High School in Kiryat Yam which
will benefit not only the students of Rodman High School but the surrounding community through a series of educational outreach programs.

ORT has recently undertaken the Latin American Campaign -
a major program of new projects across Latin America. The aim is two fold - to benefit young people, the future generations of the Latin American Jewish
communities, putting them on a path towards employment security and a life long sense of Jewish identity and to benefit older members of the community through things like focused vocational training and having a younger generation
equipped to support them through a safe and secure retirement.

Hermelin ORT Resource Center | Other ORT programs in the region. More than 20,000 students are served by ORT's junior colleges, technical programs and computer centers in Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami and New
York.
- Bramson ORT College -- Two campuses where quality college programs in business, technology and health
services meet the educational needs of a diverse New York community. The curriculum includes Jewish educational courses as well as general education, including American history and culture.
- Los Angeles ORT Technical Institute -- LAOTI provides affordable technology-based education and English
as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to the community. Students are prepared for high-demand occupations with proven career growth opportunities. All curricula,
equipment, computer software, books and materials are reviewed on a continuing basis to ensure their relevance in today's job market.
- Zarem/Golde -- Much like it's Los Angeles counterpart, this Chicago based school
prepares students from 45 different nations for success in some of the fastest growing job sectors available with a school curricula designed to specifically meet the needs of local employers. Students are also given intensive job
preparation assistance. The result is a job placement rate close to 100%.
- ORT E-Learning Center -- Integrates technology and modern learning methods with Jewish education. Courses
include Chumash and Navi as well as science, biology and Regents preparation. The Center supplements traditional tutoring with tools using advance technology created specifically for the purpose of
guiding children through difficult academic tasks.
- Hermelin ORT Resource Center -- A technological resource for Jewish educators and provides students of all
ages with the opportunity to explore Jewish history and culture in an exciting and innovative way through creative multi-media projects.
- Atlanta ORT Computer Technology Center - Not only serves the needs of six local Jewish day schools and
provides advanced technology training and development to the teaching staff and administrations, this Center provides the Atlanta community with access to a wide variety of computer resources, training opportunities and
educational programming for people all ages.
- ORT Cleveland Technology Center - Provides classroom technology planning to more than 3,500 students at six
local day schools in Cleveland. The Center develops technology plans, upgrades computers and networks, trains teachers, develops
long distance telecommunications projects, evaluates and purchases new software and integrates educational technology into the schools’ programs.
